Introduction to On-board Lifting Trucks
- Basic Concepts
- Definition:The truck-mounted crane, often referred to simply as a truck-mounted crane, is a versatile piece of equipment designed to elevate, rotate, and lift goods. It achieves this through a sophisticated hydraulic lifting and telescoping system, seamlessly integrated into the truck.
- Function Advantages:This remarkable machine combines both lifting and transportation capabilities, allowing it to autonomously manage the transport, loading, and unloading of goods. Unlike traditional cranes that require separate trailers, this innovation significantly reduces both time and labor costs.
- Structural Composition
- Truck Chassis:You can choose from a range of reputable brands and models, including Dongfeng, Heavy Duty Truck, Shaanxi Automobile, Jiefang, Ouman, and Steyr. Each chassis offers unique load-bearing capacities, power performances, and wheelbase options to cater to diverse operational requirements.
- Truck:Designed for loading goods, it can be customized with various lengths and volumes to accommodate a wide array of transportation needs.
- Traction Device: This crucial component connects the engine to the crane, managing power output and ensuring the engine efficiently powers the crane's operations.
- Crane:The heart of the on-board crane truck, the crane, is categorized by producer-Zoomlion, Xinfeigong, Chengli-and by type, such as straight arm and folding arm. It also varies by tonnage, with options ranging from 2 to 30 tons, offering versatility for various lifting tasks.
- Operational Principle
- Hydraulic System: As the core of the truck-mounted crane, the hydraulic system powers every movement through the pressurized transmission of hydraulic oil. It controls the lifting arm's extension and retraction, adjusts amplitude, and manages the rotation and elevation of the hoisting mechanism.
- Control System:Delivering precision control, the crane's movements are finely tuned by the operator. Utilizing a joystick or remote control, the driver can manage the hydraulic valve's opening and flow rate, ensuring the crane operates safely and efficiently during lifting tasks.
- Characteristics of Different Types
- Folding Arm Crane:Renowned for its flexibility, the folding arm crane can bend and maneuver deftly in confined spaces, making it perfect for warehouse handling and interior decoration where precise lifting is crucial. However, it may come with a higher price tag compared to straight arm cranes of the same tonnage.
- Application Areas
- Logistics Transportation: In logistics hubs, ports, and freight stations, this equipment excels at loading and unloading goods, swiftly transporting items from vehicles, thus enhancing logistics efficiency.
- Construction:Efficiently lifts and transports construction materials such as steel bars, cement components, and bricks at building sites. It is also instrumental in the installation and dismantling of construction equipment.
- Municipal Engineering:Engage in the vital enhancement of urban infrastructure, including the professional installation of street lamps, the strategic erection of telephone poles, the precise installation of billboards, and a multitude of other essential high-altitude tasks.
- Rescue and Relief Efforts: At disaster sites such as earthquakes, fires, and debris flows, it is indispensable for swiftly clearing obstacles, efficiently transporting rescue materials, and safely hoisting injured individuals, thereby playing a pivotal role in life-saving rescue operations.
- Operation Precautions
- Personnel Qualification:The crane operator must complete comprehensive professional safety training, receive validation through examinations by relevant authorities, and obtain a valid certificate of qualification prior to independent operation. Unlicensed personnel are strictly forbidden from operating the crane under any circumstances.
- Pre-operation Inspection: Prior to commencing work, it is imperative to thoroughly assess the functionality of each operating device, ensure that the wire rope adheres to stringent safety standards, and verify that brakes, hydraulic devices, and safety mechanisms are intact, responsive, and fully reliable. Operating any component with existing faults is strictly prohibited.
- Utilization of the Lifting Arm: The lifting arm must maintain an angle of no less than 30°. The crane should minimize any lifting or lowering actions while under load to ensure stability, and altering the control lever before the lifting arm is securely stable is strictly forbidden.
